Barking DogPrivacy Policy
The short version
Barking Dog doesn't collect, store or share any personal information about you. There are no accounts, no ads and no analytics or tracking tools in the app.
What the app does with your device
To show flow data, the app makes requests over the internet to the California Data Exchange Center (CDEC, cdec.water.ca.gov). Like any internet request, this means CDEC can see your device's IP address and the time of the request. We don't operate that service, and we don't receive or keep that information. See CDEC's own policies for how they handle it.
The app does not request your location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera.
Links to other sites
The app links to third-party websites, such as the DreamFlows Chili Bar graph. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control. Opening a link takes you out of the app and into your browser.
Data stored on your device
The app doesn't save personal data. Anything it displays, such as the latest flow reading, is fetched fresh and kept only while the app is open.
Children
Barking Dog doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. If we ever add features that collect data, we'll update this policy first.
