Release calendar

A month view of scheduled releases, with the times at the dam and when the water reaches Barking Dog.

How it works

Flow data comes from the California Data Exchange Center (CDEC). Water takes roughly three hours to travel from Chili Bar dam to Barking Dog, so the big number is the Chili Bar reading from about three hours ago.

The release calendar is built from the minimum recreational releases in the Chili Bar hydropower license, for the current water year type. Actual releases may be higher, and can change without notice.
